I have spent over thirty years in the fashion industry. I have always had a passion for making women feel their best. Whether you are a jeans and t-shirt gal or a bit of a glam gal. We all want to feel confident in our own skin. I don’t believe in changing who you are. I always want to bring out the best in you.

When did you start creating? Was there a specific moment or inspiration that led you to it?

I have been crafting and recreating my clothing since I was a teenager. It always came naturally to me. I grew up with eight brothers. So being the only girl. I did whatever I could to make myself stand out.
I started created my jewelry full time this past year. I was looking for a way to keep my passion going after losing my job of fifteen years.

What emotions, messages, or themes do you hope to convey through your work?

I believe we carry things from the past. Whether it’s good or bad. I hope that my pieces convey an inspiration of hope. Knowing that we can carry it with us but also move forward.

What materials, tools, or techniques do you use, and why did you choose them? (This can include digital tools, traditional techniques, or unique processes.)

I visit every antique and vintage shop I come across. I go to many estate sales. I look for vintage beads, broken vintage jewelry that has been forgotten about.

What was the biggest challenge you faced in your creative journey, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest challenge is not believing in myself. I told myself nobody would like my pieces.

I have had so much support when I’m shopping for my vintage items. It has helped me regain my confidence.

Do you remember your first sale? How did it feel?

I’m still early at my business. So to be truthful my sales have been a bit slow.

Is there a particular piece or product that customers seem to love the most? What makes it special?

I have been fortunate that most of my pieces are getting positive feedback.

What are your future plans? What do you hope to achieve through your creative business?

I hope to continue to add more pieces to my collection.

Are you working on any exciting new projects or collections?

I would love to add other items to my collection much further down the road. Maybe, some beaded clutch bags.
