I’m excited to share my latest oil painting, New Horizons, a 5 by 7 inch piece that captures a cosmic scene with a quiet intensity. The composition draws you into a vast expanse where planets of varied color and size hover in a star-filled sky. In the upper left, a bright celestial burst casts warm shades of orange and yellow, with white streaks radiating outward, illuminating the surrounding space. For this painting, I chose to blend the colors by hand, using my fingers to create a tactile surface that reflects the movement and energy of this moment in the cosmos.
