Ethereal Light is a small watercolor study, measuring 3 by 2 inches, matted to 4 by 3. In this piece, soft washes of pastel yellow and lavender blend seamlessly, creating a quiet, flowing impression with subtle hints of white and pale green to add depth. The composition avoids distinct shapes, focusing instead on the delicate movement of color and the gentle merging of tones. I framed it with a simple black frame and white mat to highlight the painting’s airy quality. This work grew from a day when I stepped outside usual boundaries and let the colors find their own path. It’s an exploration of letting go and embracing flow. I am including a mini black easel for you to display this painting.
